This album causes me to immediately hand crank those manual windows down in that beautiful '86 white Toyota Camry I drove to high school in the early '00s and let the wind blow through my hair while I contemplate my limitless future. My favorite track is definitely Last Year. It's like The Pretender had a kid who didn't believe life was really just the struggle for legal tender and now that kid realizes the meaninglessness of life as a rational economic agent.
